UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — May 29, 2019 — NBC has tied for #1 in primetime results for the week of May 20-26 in the key demographic of adults 18-49 and won the week outright in total viewers, according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.
The second season premiere of WHISTLEBLOWER was Friday’s #1 broadcast at 8:00 PM and posted year-to-year increases with series highs in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Friday, May 24.

The NBA Playoffs once again dominate the sports week, taking four of the top five spots. The ESPN Western Conference Finals was #1 with 7.8 million viewers, while TNT place three Eastern Conference games, averaging six million viewers.



The much anticipated live remake of Disneys ALADDIN topped the 4-day Memorial Day weekend, scoring nearly $113 million in its first four days of release. $22 million was brought in on Monday, alone.
